Sharon White from The Sweet Shop in Honley is organising a ‘Pumpkin Trail‘ in Honley to help families celebrate Halloween safely in Covid conditions.

Can you provide a Halloween pumpkin or display?

Any household that wishes to take part should register at The Sweet Shop at the top of Eastgate. Sharon will give you a number to display with your pumpkin or Halloween display, and add your home or business address to the list of displays that children and families can visit on 31 October.

Some people will also be invited to display Halloween themed words alongside their number.

The more homes we can get involved the more fun for local children and families!

At the moment, we’re looking for people to take part from:

GREENCLIFFE, WEST AVENUE, BRADSHAW DRIVE, BRADSHAW AVENUE, MELTHAM ROAD, DERWENT ROAD, MOORSIDE ROAD, ROUNDWAY, STONEY LANE, LONG LANE

Take part in the trail!

Children can collect a trail sheet from The Sweet Shop, which they can fill in by visiting the displays on the list on Halloween. Completed sheets are then posted into a postbox at The Sweet Shop and a winner will be drawn at random on Monday 2nd November.

Prizes

The winner will receive a Halloween Hamper.

Children and famiies taking part in the trail will also be invited to vote for the best display. The house or business with the most votes will also receive a prize.
