CBE.

Prof Graham Leslie CBE has made his name as a UK serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and business advisor, known for creating the largest privately-owned pharmaceutical store brand, Galpharm International Ltd. He pioneered revolutionary changes within the rules for the sale of counter medicines within the Medicine Control Agency during the mid-1990s, by switching pharmaceutical molecules from prescription only to OTC medicines. The switch resulted in massive savings to the NHS, equating to approximately £300-£400 million per annum, and continues to this day. He also created Europe’s first 25,000 all-seater stadium for rugby, football and events based in Huddersfield, now known as the John Smith’s Stadium, and is Resident Professor of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Huddersfield University. Graham was also an International Business Speaker in Chicago and at the Business school at Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada.

Graham’s drive and ambition has seen him not only turn his own companies into multi-million-pound successes but has helped various others overcome financial difficulties and transform them into profitable businesses. His own group’s sales are in excess of £130 Million. More recently, as a big advocate of the creative arts, Graham has supported emerging artists that have gone on to create portraits of the Queen, recorded songs for his own album to help raise money for various charitable organisations, and in the 2020/21 lockdown was executive producer and music advisor for his first ever Hollywood film, Chick Fight, available on Amazon Prime since May 2021.
