There is a lot of support out there to help you manage volunteers, access training, secure funding as well as invites to meetings and briefings like “People helping People” that run in this area.

It is also about making sure you are visible and easy to find on various community directories, including the brand new “Live Well Kirklees” where emphasis is placed on community groups and clubs to help isolation and good mental health.
All you need to bring is contact details for your group or organisation, along with details of any social media and websites you may have, if you only have a house addresses and land line phones that’s fine, we just need to know how you want to be contacted. If you have a programme of events, and meeting times and venues, that would also be helpful.
