Event Details

Having designed for big brands, cut and sewn everything from a tailored suit to swags and tails (curtains) multi disciplined designer, Lucy Bennett leads these Tuesday evening courses. A great tool kit for the beginner, intermediate or advanced who wants to up-skill, or dip in and learn something specific. Each week, the evening class will tackle a new project or repair. From sewing on a button to making a finished garment there is a class for the budding tailor, as well as someone looking to accomplish basic alterations, clothing and home furnishings. Classes will cover design direction, pattern cutting, sewing and fit . They are aimed to be an informal but thorough class, with hands-on tuition and guidance.
