Author visit and the magic of mindfulness lead by children’s author and mindfulness coach, Sophie Edgar.

Sophie will talk to the children about how she became an author and introduce them to her books, ‘When Mr Bumble Came to Stay’ and ‘The Magical Kite Ride’.

There will also be a session from Sophie’s ‘Magic of Mindfulness Programme’ which teaches children how to understand and look after their mental health. This is a unique way to learn about emotion and how our brain works as it is delivered by magic tricks – prepare to be amazed and learn a few of your own tricks too.

Best suited for children aged 8 to 11 years.

All workshops are free with resources provided. A donation of £1 per child is welcomed.
