Honley website celebrates:
It’s a year since we launched honley.info. Created by Honley Business Association (HBA) it gives people who live, work and play in Honley a one-stop-shop for everything they need to know about our amazing village.
Over the past year, thousands of people (more than 23,000 visits to be specific) have visited the site to find out more about Honley businesses, events and the area in general.
See what’s new!
Since the website launched we’ve showcased more than 40 local businesses and highlighted lots of events, despite Covid and the associated lockdowns. Our blogs have brought you news about everything from Ed Clancy’s bid for Olympic glory and our amazing Community Covid Vaccine Centre to advice on how to shop greener in Honley and tips on becoming an open water swimmer. Click on the links to take a look at our older blogs.
Then there’s our Active in Honley section, where you can download walks, runs and cycles or find out more about sports clubs in the village.
We’re constantly updating the website, so there’s always something new and interesting to discover.

HBA AGM – TBC, but CU there?
To translate, the HBA annual general meeting takes place in February 2022. While the date and location is yet to be confirmed, we do know that some of our committee members are stepping back. The current team has done a great job and we’re forever grateful for their help and commitment. As with anything in life, change happens and it’s always good for any organisation to encourage new faces and fresh ideas.

*Membership is £120 per year or £10 per month based on a 3-year commitment.
