A Secret Retreat in Honley

When Tina moved over the Pennines from Lancashire, she found the perfect place for her new beauty business in the heart of Honley. Hidden in the centre of the village, you’ll find Lash Lounge at Secret Retreat on Concord Street, up the road from the entrance to the Westgate car park.

Having worked in the beauty industry for 22 years, Tina wanted to offer a relaxing luxury spa experience without the luxury price tag. And that’s exactly what she’s managed to deliver. Tina has created a tranquil space known as the Secret Garden for pamper parties, and treatment rooms that offer deliciously relaxing skin and body beauty treatments. Tina even has a wellness shop, so you can purchase your favourite products to enjoy at home.

“We focus on you and your wellness. Our aim is to offer a range or treatments, experiences and products that leave you feeling and looking great,” said Tina.

The Secret Garden

The perfect space to relax with friends or celebrate a special occasion, The Secret Garden is a private space where you can relax and unwind.

Whether it’s a special birthday, hen party or just an excuse to relax with friends, you’ll have exclusive use of the mood lit sauna, massage beds and relaxing garden bed. You’ll also be treated to complimentary herbal teas and soft drinks, and have use of the cocktail bar with everything you need to create the perfect cocktail, just bring along your own ingredients.*

To make the most of your time in the Secret Garden, you can book organic spa treatments. With everything from Shae Bliss Body Therapy to hot stone treatment and a bamboo massage, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

There’s also a private dining area, where you can indulge in tantalising fare from one of Honley’s amazing restaurants.

“I love the fact that I can work with other local businesses to provide clients with a spa experience like no other. My clients can enjoy quality food from Wired, Punch and Pan Yum. We even offer Tea 4 Two and candlelit dinners for special occasions,” said Tina.

Feeling better, looking great

You don’t have to book a pamper party to benefit from the body and beauty treatments at Lash Lounge. Tina and her colleagues specialise in a variety of bookable treatments.

As you’d expect from the name, you can have your lashes licked into shape, as well as manicures, pedicures and facials. Then there are a range of body treatments from gentle Mother-to-be treatments to Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub, waxing and non-surgical face lifts. For chocolate lovers, the Chocolate Body Therapy is a must! You can unwrap this mystery and browse the full range of treatments on the Lash Lounge website.

Non-surgical treatments

Tina and her colleague, Caroline, also provide a range of non-surgical treatments from body contouring and fat-loss to anti-aging and pigmentation of the face, using the latest hi-tech devices.

If you’re suffering from chronic or acute pain, they also offer clinical massage sessions. These clinically-focussed treatments help to reduce swelling, ease pain and accelerate healing for a range of conditions.

You’ll receive a full consultation and assessment before each treatment, as well as an aftercare plan. Find out more about these treatments and book an appointment online, using the Lash lounge at Secret Retreat Facebook page.

Wellness and healing

Wellness is at the core of the Lash Lounge at Secret Retreat. As well as a range of gifts to treat loved ones – or yourself – the Wellness Shop is the only place in Honley to sell healing crystals**.

If you need a little me time, or want a relaxing afternoon with friends, then the Lash Lounge at Secret Retreat is the place you’ve been searching for. Go on, treat yourself!

*Lash Lounge at Secret Retreat is not licenced to sell or provide alcohol, but you can bring your own drinks to enjoy while you relax in the Secret Garden.
