Looking good at ChainReaxtion
At the bottom of Church Street, you’ll find ChainReaxtion, a women’s boutique filled with gorgeous clothes, accessories and gifts, at pleasantly surprising prices.
Heather, who owns and runs ChainReaxtion, has a genuine passion for retail and a real flair for fashion. Which isn’t surprising when you learn that Heather spent a couple of decades at the cutting edge of the fashion world, providing the latest look to high street stores in London’s West End.
Now it’s Honley’s Westgate that’s benefiting from Heather’s keen eye for fashion – and for a bargain.
An eye for detail
It’s the personal touch that Heather really loves, and many of her regular customers are local people who pop into the shop for a browse and a chat. She also puts her years of experience to good use, advising on colours and outfits.
If you want the full benefit of Heather’s expert advice and opinion on potential outfits, why not book a private, personal shopper experience? Pop into the shop or call to arrange an out of hours appointment.
Something for everyone
There’s something for all ages, and most sizes (6 to 24), at ChainReaxtion. Heather also has a range of accessories, from bracelets and necklaces to earrings and bags, to complete your perfect outfit.
If you prefer you can shop online from the comfort of your own home. On the ChainReaxtions website you’ll discover a different choice of clothing, accessories and gifts to those you’ll find in the shop.
Just off the high street
One of the reasons that ChainReaxtion is such good value is Heather’s long association with the fashion industry. Many of Heather’s clothing lines are ex-chain store and ex-high street, but as she explains, not in the way you might think.
“Chain stores, high street and online stores plan their collections well in advance of the season, but things don’t always go to plan and stores cancel orders. Some collections never even make it into the shops and I work closely with these suppliers to select outfits that I know my customers will adore,“ said Heather.
It means that there’s always a range of popular high street and online brands on offer at ChainReaxtion. And, with fresh stock arriving every week, there’s always something new for customers to discover.
Taking to the catwalk
Charity fashion shows are a regular fixture on the ChainReaxtion calendar. Since she opened ChainReaxtion in 2010, Heather has used her flair for fashion to raise money for local charities, schools and other not-for-profit organisations. The charity or school earns money from ticket sales and receives a percentage of any clothes sold during the evening.
More recently, Heather has taken her fashion shows to a national audience with online fashion shows that Heather hosts. The charity sells tickets online and receives a percentage of subsequent online sales.
Talk to Heather if you’re interested in raising money for your charity or school with an on- or off-line ChainReaxtion Fashion Show. Alternatively, just pop into ChainReaxtion for a chat and a browse.
