Just off the high street

One of the reasons that ChainReaxtion is such good value is Heather’s long association with the fashion industry. Many of Heather’s clothing lines are ex-chain store and ex-high street, but as she explains, not in the way you might think.

“Chain stores, high street and online stores plan their collections well in advance of the season, but things don’t always go to plan and stores cancel orders. Some collections never even make it into the shops and I work closely with these suppliers to select outfits that I know my customers will adore,“ said Heather.

It means that there’s always a range of popular high street and online brands on offer at ChainReaxtion. And, with fresh stock arriving every week, there’s always something new for customers to discover.

Taking to the catwalk

Charity fashion shows are a regular fixture on the ChainReaxtion calendar. Since she opened ChainReaxtion in 2010, Heather has used her flair for fashion to raise money for local charities, schools and other not-for-profit organisations. The charity or school earns money from ticket sales and receives a percentage of any clothes sold during the evening.

More recently, Heather has taken her fashion shows to a national audience with online fashion shows that Heather hosts. The charity sells tickets online and receives a percentage of subsequent online sales.
