Stephen’s son, Marcus, has been helping his dad since he was young and several years ago, joined his dad in business.

Marcus also picked up his dad’s love of motorbike racing and, having spotted one of his dad’s old motorbikes online, decided to buy it himself.

It proved to be a lucky find as, last year, he went on to win two championship races in the East Midlands Racing Association (EMRA), moving him into a higher classification in the world of racing, as a result.

The collection of trophies in their office is just one part of the great father and son team they make.

“From just a blob of rust to major repairs, from old cars to new cars, we provide a service for everyone,” said Stephen.

“There is nothing more satisfying than when you get a car into the workshop that may have been smashed to bits and you put it all back together so that it’s nice and gleaming.

“It gives me so much pleasure to see it looking in mint condition.”
