Kirklees Library Services and Friends of Honley Library invite you to a presentation by Dr Ryad Alsous.

Dr Ryad Alsous, from the Marsden Buzz project is a Syrian refugee who will share his inspirational story along with his knowledge and love of bees.

A few years after arriving in the UK with his wife and five children, Dr Alsous set up the Buzz Project, a charity that helps refugees take up beekeeping. The book ‘The beekeeper of Aleppo’ by Christy Lefteri is based on his story.
