Honley Together Christmas Street Market is one of the highlights of the year. Hundreds of people from the village and further afield flock to our village for the annual Christmas street market.

This year the Honley Together Christmas Street Market takes place on Saturday 5th December from 10am to 4pm, but will look a little different.

With COVID-19 still a threat, we ask that everyone who comes along to the street market to wear a mask, and be considerate of others.

Still plenty to see and enjoy

The cobbles of Church Street will still be filled with festive community and retail stalls, but it’s too narrow to keep a 2m distance so please remember your mask. The situation may change in line with Government guidelines, but we’ll keep you updated at all times.

As before, you’ll find everything from bacon butties and tombolas to cupcakes and Christmas decorations. The rest of the village is involved too, so there’s plenty of space to keep your distance.

At St Mary’s Chuch, there’s carol singing and coffee and cakes, or head to Trinity Church at Moor Bottom to see their Christmas tree display. It’s also where the little ones can visit Santa. That’s not all. There are brass bands, Santa’s sleigh and many of our shops get into the festive spirit too.
