Drumming with Banda Na Rua

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at drumming?

Offerng all the fun of the carnival, Banda Na Rua are running a Brazilian and modern street percussion class every Friday, 7.30-9.30pm at Neiley Pavilion on New Mill Road.

This friendly percussion group would like to hear from anyone who wants to pick up a Brazilian-style drum and give it a bash! No experience is necessary, you don’t even need to know how to read music. All you need is a sense of fun and a willingness to throw yourself into the music.

Full tuition is provided and there are 7 different South American-style percussion instruments to choose from. Adults and children aged 10 years and older, if accompanied by an adult, are welcome to join in.

Cost
The first session is free, then it’s just £5 (£4 concessions) when paid per half term or £7.50 if paid on the night.
