Honley Centenary Show 5K

On behalf of the Honley Centenary Show, Holmfirth Harriers are organising a 5K multi-terrain race and a series of Junior Races, details below.
Entry: Enter on the day, free to enter, your £5 entry to the show will include your race entry. Entries taken from 10.00am to 10.45am at the Holmfirth Harriers tent just inside the main entrance to the cricket ground. Maximum number allowed 100 so come early to ensure you get a place. You must collect your race number from the Registration tent to take part.
Race start: 11.00am. Gather near the side entrance (Roundway) to the rec at 10.50am. You will be walked to the start on the fields next to Grassmoor Fold.
Finish: Where you gathered on the rec before the start.
Route: The route will be fully flagged and marshalled at all path and road junctions/crossings. It follows field footpaths towards Netherthong and then just before the Cider Press turns up to Oldfield. The route then follows a road section along Oldfield Road, Miry Lane and St Mary’s Road to the Cricketers Public House before returning, via footpaths, on the outward route back to the rec. A map will be available to view at Registration.
Medals to 1st 3 finishers in each 5 year veteran age group (M and F) from 35 years upwards plus Open Adults (18 – 34 years) and 16 – 17 years.
