On behalf of the Honley Centenary Show, Holmfirth Harriers are organising a 5K multi-terrain race and a series of Junior Races, details below.

The races will take place on the field of Honley Junior Infant and Nursery School Jaggar Lane site.  To register for the races please enter the school site via the Marsh Lane Gate, easily accessed from the Show Ground or the village centre. Race entry cost £2 per child. Medals for the first 3 girls and boys to finish in each of the races and a chocolate treat for all those taking part.  All proceeds from the races will be donated to Honley Junior Infant and Nursery School.

Race Timetable

14.00hrs Race 1 – preschool and reception – 250m 1 small lap

14.15hrs Race 2 – years 1 and 2 – 450m 2 small laps

14.30hrs Race 3 – years 3 and 4 – 800m 1 small and one large lap

14.45hrs Race 4 – years 5 and 6 – 1100m 2 large laps

15.00hrs Race 5 – Years 7 and over – 1700m 3 large laps
