Magdale - Green Match Fund Campaign

One Donation Double the Impact

We are very excited to let you know that Honley Village Community Trust has successfully bid to one of over 100 charities to participate in the Green Match Fund Campaign.

Launch day is Thursday 22 April (at midday) – World Earth Day – and all of the donations we receive by debit/credit card for a week until 29 April will be match funded up to £2500. So a total of £5000.

This will help us continue with our projects to improve the bio-diversity of Magdale Fields and Dam. These projects include:

Setting up of a Community Orchard and Bee bank
Creating wildflower meadows
Tree management and replacement
Water plants for Magdale Dam

All of this helps towards tackling climate change and protecting species.

2021 will be a critical year for the environment so please help us do our bit in Honley by donating to our cause and making twice the impact.
